Surrounded by nature and a peaceful setting, this unique and cute little place brings mind, body, and spirit into harmony with it all. Enjoy all that nature has to offer from the comfort of a full futon that looks out through the open panel which opens up to the beauty right outside. There is a mosquito netting that you may spread across to protect you from any unwelcome visitors.
Enjoy a wonderful fire in the fire pit next to Gypsy in the beautiful night sky. You can cook a delicious fire roasted meal and fall asleep to the lullaby of the wind, leaves, and the night time chorus. Then, be awakened to the birds singing in the early morning. We invite you to an intimate camping experience with nature, all you need is essentials and the desire to connect with this beautiful environment.
Definitely a rare place to disconnect from the worldly concerns!

The Space:
The Heart Center is a retreat for the mind, body, and spirit. We are close all major attractions being less than ten minutes from the Tail of the Dragon, Cheolah River, Cheolah Lake; twenty minutes from Fontana Dam, Yellow Creek Falls, 20 Mile Ranger Station, Lake Santeetlah and Fontana Village. Also, we are close to Joyce Kilmer and Cherohala Skyway. We have a tennis court and gym, an indoor eating cafeteria, and a large picnic area with grills and volleyball, available for groups. You will enjoy a quiet and peaceful night in a one of a kind experience. Other activities available in the area are: Whitewater rafting, boating, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, hikes and tours of the area including The Smoky Mountains National Park, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Cherohala Skyway, the Tail of the Dragon and Fontana Dam. This is an incredibly beautiful area, very pristine and full of adventure for the nature lover, car enthusiast, motorcycle rider and adventure seeker.
Guest Access:
Your rental allows you to enjoy the entire grounds including the labyrinth, picnic area, volleyball, tennis court, gymnasium with basketball court. Hot, clean showers and bathrooms are available to guests in the gymnasium area.
Interaction with Guests:
All of us at the Heart Center love to meet and share with our guests, however, we also respect your need for privacy and quiet and relaxation time. We like a happy balance! We are here to connect with you, not just to offer you a rental.
I am a Reiki master and assist in energy restoration and healing, as well as, meditation and self exploration techniques. Guests are welcomed to join me in a fire ceremony from India, to help heal the planet, yoga & meditation practice/discussion, or receive an energy healing on a love offering basis.
