Tent Camping In Harmony with Nature:

At the Heart Center, we want your tenting experience to be a re-energizing and restorative experience, flowing naturally through the power of being in harmony and balance with the natural environment.  Surround yourself with a pristine piece of heaven, in the Nantahala National Forest and the Smoky Mountains.   Feel secluded enough to experience your own inner stillness; and, yet, connected enough to enjoy many beautiful area attractions, like Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Fontana Dam and the Appalachian Trail, 20 Mile Ranger Station, Cherohala Skyway, and Santeetlah Lake!

Our tent camping experience includes:  Tent pads, firepits/grills, hot showers, clean bathrooms.

 

We welcome groups for retreats and special events.

 

Other Things To Note:

• It is best to buy groceries before coming to the log cabins as the nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away, and to be honest, most people do not want to leave the cabin once they are here. 

• Our log cabins are surrounded by trees so there is always plenty of wood laying around, however, not all of it is suitable for the fireplace, therefore, we ask that you buy firewood at the store, or our pre-cut wood.

• Cellular phone service is not available in the area.

• Wi-Fi is available near the office area.

• This area definitely requires good, reliable transportation. Most people ride motorcycles. There is a shuttle from the airport that is not terribly expensive.
